POLICY CONTEXT, COORDINATION AND DELIVERY OF THE UK NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL SYMBIOSIS PROGRAMME: AN EXPLORATORY STUDY
The project aims to explore the national policy context, internal management system and the regional context of delivery of the UK National Industrial Symbiosis Progarmme (NISP). The outcomes of this research would provide policy-makers with the information that would help them to see how the existing policies and regulations need to be modified and new policies and legislation put in place to allow the industrial ecology approach to be used effectively. It would also offer insight on coordination and delivery strategies of the UK NISP and the delivery experiences of regional coordinators and business members.
